The MTB4102 security camera also features our Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS) features. These include face detection, tripwire, intrusion, missing object, and abandoned object. All of these features will help you maximize the use of your surveillance system and send you alerts when you need them.
NVR Records Real-Time at 30 Frames-per-Second on all 32 Channels
The MNR12326-16 channel NVR is equipped with an incredible Quad-Core embedded processor capable of recording 4K resolution video in real time (30 frames per second) on all 32 channels. 2K & 4K resolution brings greater details to your video, and allows you to utilize the extra resolution when you need to identify finer details, such as faces and license plates. 4MP 2K resolution is 2688x1520 pixels vs. 2MP 1920 x 1080 pixels, the more pixels gives you the ability to have further digital zoom, without pixelating the image as much.
Our camera records real-time at 30FPS in 2K 4MP resolution. This ensures you have the recording speed to record and view fluid movement on the screen, as it is real-time.
Digital and Optical Zoom Supported
The Montavue MTB4102 IP camera is equipped with 16x digital zoom. This 32 channel NVR allows you to digitally zoom in on the finest details of facial features and license plates from resolutions of 720P to 8MP 4K. The NVR can also control optical zoom cameras as well, those cameras are sold separately.
Intelligent Video Surveillance (IVS)
The Montavue MNR12326-16 4K network video recorder and 32 MTB4102 IP cameras are equipped to work with our Intelligent Video Surveillance features. These include tripwire, face detection, intrusion, missing object, abandoned object and auto-tracking. Those IVS features allow you to monitor the area you are covering very precisely and efficiently, so you are only alerted when you want to be according to your settings. You can know exactly when someone or object crosses an invisible line, leaves or enters a space, and more.
Simple PoE Installation – Plug and Play
When it comes to simplicity, Montavue has made it so simple that you just need to plug the included Cat5e ethernet cable with each camera into this NVR, and the other end into the camera, wait a minute or two and the camera will be auto recognized and pop up on your screen. The PoE simplicity is perfect, as both power and video are transferred through the same cable. It also gives you flexibility with installation. You can run one single cable from the NVR up to 300ft, and then if you need to go further you can hook a PoE switch up and you can run it an additional 300ft for a total of 600ft. Each one of our Montavue cameras come with a 100ft cat5e cable.
With IP cameras the fun doesn’t stop there. You can bring in cameras to your NVR that are plugged in from around the world as long as they have internet access. This gives you limitless capability, and with the ONVIF compatibility of these cameras (all Montavue cameras are ONVIF compatible which means), you can use them on ONVIF compatible software and recorders. For plug and play compatibility we recommend Montavue IP cameras.
Superior Clarity and Resolution
Montavue 2K and 4K surveillance cameras are equipped with the best components made on the market to produce the clearest image possible. We strive to produce quality cameras that will give each one of our customers the best image at a very competitive price. Every Montavue camera is equipped with industry-leading True Wide Dynamic Range (WDR), Backlight Compensation (BLC), Highlight Compensation (HLC), and 3D Dynamic Noise Reduction technologies (3D DNR). WDR, BLC, and HLC all fix lighting issues with producing a quality image by minimizing the effects of bright backgrounds and foregrounds and lights in between. The goal is to produce an image that looks similar to if you were there in person. 3D DNR is an important feature for night vision and low light video. It reduces the fuzzy hazy images that are produced from noise transmitted from the camera, which creates a clearer image, cuts down on storage, and reduces false motion alerts.
Compatible with MontavueGO – Our free mobile viewing app for PC/Mac and Android/Apple
The MNR12326-16 32 channel NVR and MTB4102 surveillance cameras will work flawlessly with our remote monitoring app, MontavueGO. With MontavueGO you can access and control your cameras and surveillance system from around the world with the power of internet and by using our incredibly easy to use application on your mobile device or computer. When using your mobile device simply download the MontavueGO app and scan the QR code on your NVR in order to sync your system to your phone. Now you can view, control cameras, and change the settings on your NVR from anywhere. Live viewing and past recordings are only the start, there are an abundant amount of features, one that we love is push notifications. Set the camera to motion detect, and when something moves in the area you designate, the application will send a push notification to your phone or device.
Along with the MontavueGO app, you can also access your NVR from anywhere in the world using a Windows or Mac web browser once you have the NVR configured with a username and password. You can use an IP address from your NVR or create a custom domain with our free DDNS serivce.
A new feature we have incorporated into our MontavueGO application, is called PC-NVR. This gives you the ability to record video directly to your PC’s hard drive. You will be able to allocate the amount of storage you want the recordings to take up on your hard drive, setup schedules, and set parameters to trigger recording.
Continuous, Scheduled, Motion, and IVS Recording Options
With the Montavue 4K NVR's you are able to record your security footage in four ways, and using a different setting on each camera. First you have continuous recording to your hard drive, this gives you continuous coverage with no gaps, but uses the most hard drive storage. Second, you can schedule the cameras to record only during certain times, for example when you leave for work or away from home. Third, you can set up motion detection and the NVR will only record when the camera senses that motion. This advanced 4K NVR uses a pre-recording function that allows you to record up to 5 seconds before the motion was detected, so you don't miss the moments before the motion. Lastly, you can use advanced IVS features such as tripwire, intrusion, and more to initiate recording.
All of these settings are individual to each camera, giving you the ability to have some set as continuous in high-traffic areas, and some scheduled, while the rest are motion. This allows you to maximize your storage capacity.
Advanced Motion Detection Supported
With the MNR12326-16 Montavue NVR and Montavue 2K and 4K IP cameras, you have the ability to create very distinct motion detection zones. This gives you complete control over the alerts you receive on your phone, or record to your NVR. This advanced feature from Montavue allows you to only view and record the things that matter most. Each individual zone has its own sensitivity levels and thresholds. Gives you the power to fine-tune the zones to your exact liking and minimize false notifications from pets.
Innovative H.265 Video Compression for Less Storage and Bandwidth
The MNR12326-16 port 4K NVR and MTB4102 2K cameras are equipped with top of the line H.265 video compression. Compression is what helps minimize the storage needed to store your video and also reduces the bandwidth needed to send video through the network and to your mobile device. With H.265 compression, you can save up to 50% of storage compared to traditional H.264 compression. Or you can save up to 2x as much video when compared to H.264 with the same amount of storage used. Additionally, it increases the speed at which video transmits through the network and to your mobile device as they are smaller files.
- H.265 compression reduces the amount of storage by 50% compared to traditional H.264 compression
- H.265 compression reduces the file size which in turn increases the speed at which you receive video on your mobile devices and takes up less bandwidth on your network
Wide Field of View
When it comes to the field of view, these 2K resolution bullet IP cameras have a perfectly wide horizontal field of view of 102º. A 102° field of view is perfect for monitoring large areas, with good focus and clarity. When placing in a corner you are able to see wall to wall. One thing to check to make sure you are comparing apples to apples between cameras, is the difference between a horizontal and diagonal field of view. Make sure that both are horizontal or diagonal.
6TB Surveillance-Grade Hard Drive Preinstalled
The Montavue MNR12326-16 IP camera recording unit comes with a 6TB pre-installed surveillance grade hard drive made by either WD or Seagate. The hard drives we use are specifically designed to function under heavy use. They are designed to write and read constantly, and allow you to view playback at the same time it is recording new footage. If you need additional storage, you can replace the included 2x3TB SATA hard drives with another 2 SATA HD's up to 10TB each, and add an additional 20TB in the extra 2 slots, for a total of 40TB internally, and then add an additional 40TB via eSata port.
Automatic hard drive overwriting
Montavue NVR's are pre-programmed to automatically overwrite the oldest footage when the hard drive storage is full. You will never have to go in there to manually delete footage to make room for the new footage coming in. You can also set the NVR to stop recording once full, but then you have to manually delete the old footage to free up space.
USB Data Transfers, HDMI and VGA Output
If you need to pull your most important clips off your NVR so the hard drive doesn’t overwrite them, we have equipped the NVR with 2 USB ports. Just plug it in, transfer video, and you won’t lose those important moments.
Equipped with 1 HDMI port and 1 VGA port you can choose whether you want to display standard or high definition output to any monitor with live view, playback, etc.
Don’t let the weather stop you from securing your assets - IP67 outdoor rated all aluminum camera

Watch Dog power failure auto-recovery
Power outages are inevitable, but with our Montavue NVR's you can rest assured that once the power comes back, our NVR will automatically reboot and start recording again. Also, the NVR includes a Watch Dog feature that continuously monitors the system, and if there is a critical error it will automatically reboot and start recording again. This will give you stability in your NVR, and prevent system failures.
